Dynamics in the MP3s are probably not as they should be sung!

A note on breathing: You may find that the most difficult thing about singing this motet is finding time to breathe. I have inserted breath marks (like oversized commas) at several places where it would be acceptable to take a breath if possible (i.e., between words, not in the middle of words).

A note on dynamics: I transcribed this motet from an edition that included questionable and inconsistent markings for dynamics, which I have omitted. Please experiment with dynamics and (if desired) let me know what you find most satisfactory.

Translation (feel free to suggest a more elegant one, if you know of one):

Hail, true Body of Christ, born of the Virgin Mary, who truly suffered, sacrificed on the cross for man.
